Visit Cadiz
Discover the history of the oldest city in the West on a fully personalized tour. In this comfortable walk you can walk through its most typical streets, squares and corners of the capital. The Town Hall, the Cathedral, the Gran Teatro Falla, the monument of the Constitution of 1812, the Plaza de Mina or the beach of La Caleta, are some of the essential enclaves to fall in love with Cádiz.
Extend this experience by fully immersing yourself in the history of the city. We will start by discovering its Phoenician past in the archaeological site of Gadir (or visiting the two Phoenician sarcophagi), later we will visit the remains of the Roman theater, we will visit the medieval quarter of Pópulo and its narrow streets. This experience continues by discovering its golden age, the 18th century, when the monopoly of trade with the Indies was established in Cadiz, and merchants’ houses and the cathedral were built. During our walk we will also observe some of the most typical elements of its streets, such as the watchtowers, and we will visit the Tavira Tower, the highest of more than 100 in the historic center. Currently, the capital of Cádiz is famous for its beaches, its carnival and of course its gastronomy, which you can taste during our visit to one of the most outstanding bars or restaurants in the city. Are you really going to miss it?

Saltworks and fishing in estuaries
Fishing and salt extraction have traditionally been two important economic drivers in the Bay of Cadiz. In the migratory passage of birds towards the strait, we can enjoy a landscape of marshes, salt flats and estuaries. Enter a path of salt flats while discovering all the details of salt extraction and its history. We will go to a despesque, a traditional fishing technique that is carried out manually with nets in the salars and estuaries, where fishermen fence fish and shellfish. Then savor the dishes prepared with products extracted from the salt flats and estuaries. An irreplaceable experience!
